We design and build custom timber frames of any size and shape for homes, barns, and just about any structure to suit your needs. Most of our work is traditional mortise and tenon, and dovetail joinery secured with hardwood pegs and wedges; we are all about the joinery. We generally work with local woods such as Eastern White Pine, Hemlock, Red Oak, and often work with Douglas Fir, White Oak, Southern Yellow Pine and reclaimed timbers.

We design and cut timber frames in Poland, Maine to be shipped and raised anywhere in the country. We do not provide square foot pricing as we feel this is not a reliable way to estimate timber frame costs. Costs will vary depending on types of wood, finishes (sanding, planing, oiling), embellishments (chamfers, beading), curved braces, the number of timbers and joints, and complexity of frames.
