Projects - Sue's Barn
Rough Hemlock was the choice for this 24' x 36' horse barn. We cut this frame on site so that the owners could take part in the cut and build. Owner Mike joined in all aspects, from frame to finish while his wife Sue documented the project with photos. To save on costs, we cut and joined the principal members for the base frame and housed and screwed the nailers and common rafters. We then took the project to completion; boarding, roofing, building the doors and window frames, and the interior stairs and rails. The barn turned out great. Mike and Sue were awesome to work with and I'm pretty sure Sue's horses are very happy. Thanks to Rusty from Black Dog Timberworks for joining in on the project.
