30° pitch, hipped roof. A single purlin carries the central rafter, two unique jack rafters are reflected to each side.
The outside rafter is rotated 15° in plane of roof in order to catch the plate and carry load effectively.
Roof System
All joints are housed, rafters fastened with Rothoblaas 8” or 10” structural screws and end-grain sealed with Heritage all-natural wax.
The frame is built to last.
Rock solid Connections
Posts are raked and splayed 5° and spun 45° from plates— which carry the 5° pitch set by the posts.
Every joint is a unique and interesting connection.
